YUMMMMMM! Havn't lived here long but this quickly became my go to place and yes I even drive there at least once a month from Waimea to get 2 of my favorite items. MILKSHAKES ARE BOMB. Staff is friendly and does their best to get the drive through line quickly.
Oh the famous macadamia nut chicken salad sandwich was all it's cracked up to be. Many little nuts, extra creamcheese on the bottom, (I feel like I wish they gave you a choice of creamcheese flavor), the bread holds up but isn't heavy. Drive thru wax the option of the day, it was hard to see the menu options from the car when theres a line and the staff want to take your order. The cookies were OK, would have been better baked in house.
Was enticed by the Mac nut chicken salad and it did not disappoint! I got mine in a wrap and it was so good!
The mocha Frappuccino was really exceptional. I had the chicken macadamia nut sandwich as well and it was not bad it would be better if I had added avocado and may be if it was offered on a croissant. They have two drive-through's and the people working there come out to your car to take your order. So the line goes fairly fast. My dogs were in the car with me and they started barking at the girl when she came up to the window so she walked away and tried a couple of times finally my dogs chilled out and she was able to take my order but I really appreciated how she was patient and persistent. I parked near the lake right next to it and had a beautiful view as I sat in my car and ate my lunch.
The only downside of just cruisin is the wait because It's always crowded. Great service, good coffee and food selections. I normally get an Americano with the croissant breakfast sandwich to start the day and a wrap for lunch which always hits the spot. Service is always friendly, efficient and consistent. Best part is you never leave your air conditioned car.
Showed up on a Saturday morning. There was a bit of line. Took about 10 mins to order and then another 10 mins for food/drinks to come out. I got a Toddy coffee (black) and breakfast sandwich (everything bagel with egg, swiss cheese, and ham) and everything was great. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Coffee was fine but nothing special.
On our week long visit to Hilo we stopped at just cruisin every morning for breakfast and coffee. The sandwiches pictured were some of my favorite breakfast sandwiches of all time.

Honestly, really good drive through coffee at a reasonable price. Normally this type of coffee in Waimea side costs $10-12 for a 12Oz since it's flavored latte (I got Nutella) with almond milk, but for $6-7, I say it's worth. Nutty, with slight sweetness from the Nutella syrup (had to ask for less sweet and extra shot of espresso). A good ratio. Came in the morning, and there was a bit of a line in the drive through , but goes by pretty quick. Faster than the line in Starbucks that's down the street. Not pictured here, iced matcha latte: Really good, dare say similar to the one I get from Starbucks. Would NOT get matcha latte from Waimea coffee co. : terrible Tastes like breast milk flavored matcha.
